Income. Money. Cash.
These are all names for the one thing that as new or expectant mothers, we dont have enough of. Whether it be due to all the additional expenses that comes with our little bundle of joy, or the fact that we had to put our careers and jobs on hold, or both, we all face the stress of wanting or needing more income. Isn't it enough that we have to decide which loads of laundry get done today, or what can we fix quickly and on the fly for dinner tonight? Do we also have to decide what bills get paid this week and which ones have to wait till next week?
I was facing this dilemma when Izzy was born in 2005 and was facing it again when I discovered we were having another one in May, 2007. That, plus the desire of wanting to spend more time at home with my children, was putting me into a position I did not like being in. My husband, Doug, and I decided the best option was to try to generate some income from the Internet. I figured with Doug's business and internet experience (in business since 1977 and working with computers since 1970 and online since 1988 - before the Internet was around!) I had the best resource I could ask for! So the search began. Like many of you, I looked at and tried some of the hundreds of programs we are blasted with everytime we sign on to the internet or spammed with in our email boxes. Well, I wish I could say I found that magic program, but I haven't. I did find a lot of scams and other duds too. But, finally, after countless hours of surfing, thousands of searches, and a lot of trial and error, I am now earning an income from multiple sources off the internet, and as a sister mom, I want to share the results of my huband's and my labor pains with you.
First, a few words of caution and wisdom. None of these programs will make you rich overnight! In fact, I promise you that they won't! But, they do what they say they will do, and, they do pay you! The only sites listed on this page are programs that either Doug or myself participate in or use and they have consistently proven themselves to us. If that should ever change, they will be no longer listed here, and I will put a notification on here that I no longer recommend that program or site.
My second word of wisdom for you is that the only thing that will generate an income for you is you! What I mean by that, is that while what kind of business you have online is important, the most important factor to your sucess is how much time and effort you put into promoting and marketing your business. You decide how much effort and time you put to this aspect of your "business", but your results will de a direct reflection of that committment, especially in the beginning. That is where my husband's business and internet experince became so valuable in my success. I have divided the links below into two sections. First one is "Spare Cash" and the second is "Business". "Spare Cash" is for those of you looking to generate from$10-$250 a month extra spending money and without the "hassle" of running a business. "Business" is just that, sites and products I recommend and use for the developing of my online business.
MUST HAVES!
Before you click on any of the links below, there are two things you must have. If you don't already have it, you must have a reputable and up to date internet security and anti-virus program. Second, you must have a way to do financial transactions on the internet, i.e. get paid! By far, the most universally accepted and recognized internet transaction processor, and who I use, is PayPal (insert link). With PayPal, you can be paid for your efforts and use it to purchase items online, including here at Baby-Bee, eBay and probably 90% of all interent businesses. You can easily connect your checking account with your PayPal account and effortlessly move money from your PayPal to your checking and vice versa so you can buy more at Baby-Bee!

Spare Change
PTR (Paid to Read) Programs
These programs pay you to "read" emails they send you. The emails you get are ads or promotions to other PTRs or other websites and businesses. There are literally thousands of these programs out there, but few live up to your expectations. None of these will make you rich, but together they can provide some decent spare change income, espicially after you have built a downline if you desire. Even with out a downline, you can expect reasonably to make $$$$ a month from these sites together. I strongly suggest you create another email account and use that account to have these emails sent to so they don't clog up your regular email box.
Business
Dot5 Hosting: To have a online business, you have to have a website and it has to be hosted. Dot5, which is where Baby-Bee.biz is hosted is by far my top recomendation! Homestead: This is the web hosting company we use for Baby-Bee.com, our wharehouse store. If you are looking to develop a business selling hard products (i.e. not software or ebooks), then this would be our recommendation. Their web site builder is user friendly, product listing wizard is almost too simple, and has a wizard for automatically posting your products to eBay also! Again, their support is suberb and their documentation that you can download and print is second to none other I have seen. They have a variety of packages priced to fit any budget.
